BLANK - Wooden Folk Art from Gruenhainichen

We are happy to look back upon more than 60 years of an eventful business history, where three generations of wooden toy makers brought our Erzgebirge tradition to modern times.

Back in 1948 the very first Angel with Pleated Skirt was developed with an extraordinary wooden skirt, which made it famous and to the most important part of our product line. Meanwhile, we offer a wide range of wooden Angels with Pleated Skirts in a natural wooden design or in a gentle colour way. These angels all carry a filigree instrument or a little Christmas present and are treasured by numerous collectors and lovers of Erzgebirge folk art for years.

Our assortment further contains a wide range of traditional Christmas decoration like candle arches, incense smokers, nutcrackers, candle holders, and music boxes. Many of these products are combinable or expandable. But we also offer decorative and collectable articles for the rest of the year. We produce handmade wooden Easter Rabbits and Flower Children, too.

Our products are made of indigenous wood, are all handmade and completely produced in the German part of the Erzgebirge. We are therefore certificated by the Association of Craftspeople and Toymakers of the Erzgebirge Region and carry the label „Echt Erzgebirge, Holzkunst mit Herz®“ (Original from the Erzgebirge – Wooden Art with Soul).
